- Add the sliced lemons to the bowl.
- In a large pan, bring the water to a boil.
- Add the sugar and stir until it dissolves.
- Add the citric acid to the pan and stir.
- Pour the hot sugar water over the elderflower heads and lemons in the bowl.
- Add the white wine vinegar and stir everything together.
